Job description

The Program for Interdisciplinary Studies at National Sun Yat-sen University invites applications for two faculty positions at the rank of assistant professor or above, provisionally starting on February 1, 2020. We are looking for candidates with specialty in interdisciplinary maker, smart city, interdisciplinary technology innovation, and digital technology or apply digital technology in design. Excellent research activity, teaching skills, and the ability to direct students’ research and project work are required.

Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in related area of studies. Preferences are given to candidates whose experience, teaching, research, and community service has prepared then to contribute to the University commitment to diversity and excellence.

  2. Copy of PhD diploma (Documents issued by foreign institutions must be authenticated by the ROC Embassy, Consulate, Overseas Representative Office stationed in the relevant country.)

  3. Copy of teacher certificate issued by the Ministry of Education and/ or proof of previous academic employment

  4. Copy of PhD dissertation

  5. Copy of representative publications

  6. Outlines of teaching and research plans

  7. At least two recommendation letters
